You’re a Freaking Goddess! | Stockbridge Michigan
I just wanted to share a few projects that I’ve done over the last couple years. They were so empowering and brought my creativity and passion for photography back to life when I was feeling burnt out and dull. It truly is a gift to be able to use your talents in a way that makes people feel good about themselves.
In the last year I have really been finding out that I love empowering other women to step into who they truly are and share what makes them come alive as well! Because we all deserve to feel strong, confident & beautiful, and feel that way even when we dress in sweats and haven't washed our hair in a week.
So helping women feel beautiful and empowered and capturing those moments so they can look back and get that feeling again, to reclaim their power every time they see their photos. That is my new goal!
Does this mean I’m going to stop photographing families & pets? No! Not at all, photographing pets still makes me incredibly happy! They are a big part of why I became a photographer! I will always be down for all types of shoots, because they do bring a lot of fulfillment!
Sooo that being said…let’s share a few peeks at some of the projects I’ve worked on over the last couple years! Eeek!
Chicken Goddess
My friend Molly from Mermaid Molly Entertainment LLC and I have collaborated on several shoots in the past. When I reached out to her because I wanted to do something fun on our new homestead, we brainstormed up this beautiful “Chicken Goddess” session! I acquired many chickens in 2020 & fell in love with them, and wanted to include them in a photo shoot some how.
So we came up with the costume, make-up, hair and I shot my first session in the field behind our new house! It was so much fun, and we both had a blast, when we were not being eaten alive by mosquitoes. It was 100% worth it though!
Another Empowering Shoot we did was with my beautiful friend, and Personal Trainer Debra! She is an incredibly gifted trainer & belly dancer! I also learned she is a fire dancer and it was seriously one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen!
My friend Alyssia Booth from Alyssia Booth Photography also joined us and we played with a variety of lenses, capturing photos and video & putting our skills to the test with the quickly fading light!
Debra brought the most amazing props, costumes & obviously FIRE! We practiced lots of fire safety, because with fire, comes danger. So safety first friends!

Honestly this was just so magical and flawless! Her control of movement and gracefulness is awe inspiring! Truly a goddess!!!
